The Underground Castle is a special Exploration area in the West Yutakan region where you engage in combat and climb floors to earn rewards and dragons. There are 3 dragons available in this area. The Egg Piece item is also obtainable in this area.

This area is locked and must be unlocked for any account(s) made after March 21st, 2024.

In-Game Description

The underground fortress on the west side of the Yutakan continent is the ladyrinth of the ancient demon G-Skull.

Many Tamer challenged the underground fortress because it is said that the Egg of powerful Dragon hidden by monsters were hidden there. Despite numerous challenges, it is said that no one has ever seen what lies in the lowest level of the underground fortress.

Fighting in the Castle

Once you've entered the castle, you will fight randomized enemies of randomized types by selecting any dragon that was in the adult stage when you entered the castle. (Note: any dragon that reaches the adult stage while you're in the middle of a run will not be selectable until you start a new run). New runs are available at weekly rollover.

Selecting the right dragon is key - if you use the correct type that the enemy is weak against, you'll have a higher winning probability than if you use the same number of dragon that do not have a type advantage over the enemy. You can also brute-force your way through an enemy by selecting a larger number of dragons to increase your winning probability, though this will cost you a high amount of Entry Tickets. It's generally recommended to use dragons that have a type advantage over your enemy as much as you can to reduce the cost of Entry Tickets. Try to distribute the types you use evenly by taking advantage of dual-type dragons to conserve a variety of types for later fights.

Each dragon selected to fight against an enemy will cost one Entry Ticket item each. When you first start to challenge the Underground Castle, you will have a limited number of Entry Tickets and will not be able to reach the bottom on your first run. There are dragons that are awarded to you when you clear specific floors of the castle that, when grown to adult, will increase the number of Entry Tickets you'll have at the beginning of the game. Entry Tickets can also be obtained through the Bonus Minigame.

You may also choose to auto-progress through the castle, which will automatically select all dragons necessary to reach maximum win rate and skip the battle animations, but will also disable the ability to do the bonus minigames. Eggs can be selected to either be automatically collected, abandoned, or manually selected. If you have a full egg/nurture limit while eggs are set to be automatically collected, they will be abandoned due to a lack of space for them.

Bonus Minigame

The Bonus Minigame occurs when you clear any floor that ends in 0 (example: 10, 20, 30, etc). The minigame behaves similarly to the Train Focus Minigame, where you have to time a button press so that an arrow will stop on the desired spot. There are three bonuses that this minigame can give, with two different levels of a bonus depending on if you hit its green (Good) spot, or its yellow (Perfect) spot. The bonuses and their different rewards are outlined below. These bonuses can stack.

• Entry Ticket: Gives 3 extra tickets if the green spot is hit, and 5 extra tickets if the yellow spot is hit.
• Winning Probability Boost: Adds 2% to your Winning Probability if the green spot is hit, and 5% to your Winning Probability if the yellow spot is hit.
• Egg Piece Obtainment Boost: Gives 2% more Egg Pieces at the end of your run if the green spot is hit, and 4% more Egg Pieces at the end of your run if the yellow spit is hit.

Leaving the game by returning to your phone's home menu or failing to hit a green or yellow spot will result in a Fail and you will receive no bonus.

Dragon List

Special dragons can be obtained from the Underground Castle by clearing specific floors. When you grow your first dragon of each species to an adult, you will have more Entry Tickets available when you start your Underground Castle run from there on out. Growing more of the same dragon will not give more tickets - you will only be able to boost your starting Entry Ticket count once per species obtained.

Egg Pieces

The Egg Piece item is obtainable through clearing Underground Castle levels. You gain more Egg Piece items when you clear a higher level, and at the end of your run, if you have any Egg Piece Obtainment Boosts from the Bonus Minigame, you can obtain additional Egg Pieces.

Egg Pieces are used to obtain special Underground Castle forms of specific dragons. A minimum of 100 Egg Pieces is required to be consumed to create a dragon egg and it's random what dragon you'll receive. The dragon will automatically be added to your currently growing dragons, so you will not be able to use Egg Pieces if you are at your egg or nurture limit.

Before you enter the castle, you used to be able to select a potion item that would increase your winning chance when you assign a dragon of the same type as the potion applied in combat. Only one potion could be used, and its effects last the entire run. Potions used to be obtained from dispatching in any area in the Yutakan continent.
